ABOUT OUR LISTSERVS

This listserv is a private group consisting of seven NYSSCSW chapters (Metropolitan, including the Bronx and Brooklyn, Mid-Hudson, Upstate and Western New York, Nassau and Suffolk, Queens, Rockland, Staten Island, and Westchester) currently reaching over 1,500 members.

The listservs have created a unique online community, increasing connection and access to news affecting clinical social work practice.

Our Help Desk reads posts daily and is available to assist members or answer questions about how and what to post. You may receive emails from the members of your Listserv group individually or you may elect to receive the Digest form. With Digest, all posts from a single day are bundled together and sent to you as one post.

Community Bulletin Board Listserv

This was created to reduce OT (“Off-Topic”) posts, which currently appear on the chapter professional Listservs, for Society members to:

  • Share announcements of office space, summer rentals, books, and other items for sale
  • Seek services or resources unrelated to social work practice (e.g., dentists, housekeepers)
  • Post-study groups, workshops, and conferences that do not confer continuing education credits

To register, email [email protected]. Please include your name, your email address (NYSSCSW members must use the same email address they use for the Society), and email preference (all mail or digest).
